Kombu Pesto - Vegan
Here is un vegan seaweed pesto, where Parmesan is replaced by nutritional yeast, which gives it a little nutty and cheesy taste, while being 100% vegan. This differs from the classic kombu pesto, with sunflower oil and crushed sunflower seeds that amplify the nutty taste and crunch of the product.
Use it as a classic pesto in your pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. It can also enhance your dishes with vegetables or tofu. Finally, add a few spoons to a mixed salad for a healthy replacement for a store-bought vinaigrette!
Ingredients : Sweet laminaria (Kombu), sunflower oil, canola oil, spinach, roasted sunflower seeds, nutritional yeast, garlic, citric acid, salt.
